Daily Schedule of Activities:
Day 1: Nairobi to Selenkay Conservancy, Greater Amboseli, Kenya
We fly directly to Amboseli and the Selenkay Conservancy from the Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
A skilled guide greets you upon landing in the airstrip and drives you to the exclusive camp inside the neighboring private wildlife concession. Riding in an open-sided 4×4 safari vehicle, we go through open fields, wildlife viewing on the way to Selenkay, about north of Amboseli National Park.
Touching base at the private camp, we eat and unwind in the wild, before our first game viewing experience. Toward the evening, we set off into Selenkay Conservancy in the customized 4×4 vehicle to look for untamed life and winged animals.
Back at camp, we have beverages and supper around the open air fire, encompassed by untamed nature. Dinners at the camp are set up by an expert cook and the staff at camp are there to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
· Includes meals, mineral water, flight, 4×4 exchange and game drive in Selenkay Conservancy
· Overnight stay at Safari camp in Selenkay Conservancy
Day 2: Selenkay Conservancy, Greater Amboseli, Kenya
We wake at dawn on day two, heading into the exclusive game reserve on a morning game drive. This is a perfect time for spotting wild animals and birds, as the nocturnal prowlers are withdrawing and the daytime animals start to come out. Our 4×4 game drive finishes back at the camp in time for early lunch and a short break.
Next, we leave on an exciting bush walk in Selenkay Conservancy, which we can’t experience in the national park proper. You will be bought into the bush on foot by a local expert Maasai guide, who will show you up close the captivating greenery while sharing to you their extensive knowledge about the flora and fauna in the area. Strolling in the bush is an invigorating experience, as you may meet large creatures and huge felines at any minute. Bush walks are also a great way to draw close to nature and discover the bush in detail.
After our stroll in the wild, we eat back at the camp and rest in the shade. Then we will have a cultural experience, visiting a local Maasai town to meet these proud, peaceful individuals of Kenya. The semi-nomadic Maasai people are known for their unmistakable appearance, interesting dance rituals and savage warriors. This visit to the Maasai offers awareness into the ways of life, customs and traditions of these patriarchal people of the Great Rift Valley area.
We will then retreat into the Selenkay Conservancy for a late afternoon-to-evening game drive in an open-sided 4×4 vehicle. Night drives are just permitted in the private reserves encompassing Amboseli Park, one of the benefits of game viewing in the private conservancy. After viewing the sunset over the wild fields of Africa, we utilize a spotlight to find the creatures and other nighttime animals in the dark. Traveling through the darkness, the tension mounts as we tune into the noises of soft crackling bushes, animals and bird calls. Part of the excitement is not realizing what creatures are close by, seeing the reflected eyes of wandering untamed life glancing back at you in the brilliant beam of the spotlight.
Touching base back at the camp, we eat and lounge around the radiant fire pit under the starry skies. We then fall asleep to the sounds of the wild occupants of the surrounding bush.
· Includes meals, mineral water, 4×4 game drives and a guided bush walk in Selenkay Conservancy and Maasai village visit

The background of Mount Kilimanjaro provides a wonderful setting, perfect for taking wildlife photos.
